Christian Horner Charity Evening raises over £22,000 for the Little Havens Children’s Hospice

This weekend saw the latest in a series of events organised by Michael Hipperson, with Red Bull Racing Team Principle Christian Horner being joined by F1 journalist Peter Windsor and 160 motorsport enthusiasts at the BRDC Clubhouse to find out how he rose from aspiring racing driver to the lead roll in one of Formula 1’s top teams – taking in tales of Juan Pablo Montoya’s encyclopaedic knowledge of Europe’s McDonald’s and countryside walks with Sebastian Vettel and a donkey along the way to name just a couple.

There was a serious side to the evening as well of course, with Martin Donnelly taking to the floor as guest auctioneer for the evening and helping raise over £22,000 for the Little Haven  Hospice, which provides respite breaks, symptom control and end-of-life care for young children.
