Thomas Dehaibe took overall championship victory in this years Lotus Cup Europe series at Zolder, driving in his Production class Elise prepared by ES Motorsport.
Dehaibe took the overall victory ahead Jon Walker who took V6 class honours, while Jeremy Lourenco took the 2-Eleven class title, David Harvey the Open class and Anthony Fournier the Exige Cup class.

If you haven’t already then this weekend is a great chance to get a first look at the Exige S Roadster at the Bell & Colvill Exige S Roadster Open Weekend.
Jamie Matthews and Scott Walker will be joined by James Haskey of Lotus Cars and former Lotus F1 driver/Lotus Ambassador Martin Donnelly for three days of talks and test drives of the current Lotus range – including the Lotus Exige Roadster.

This years BTCC season has been a stormer, so if you want to make it along to this years season finale at Brands Hatch on October 13th then you’ll want to check out the latest Elise Garden Party auction raising money for the Little Havens Hospice.
The auction is for a single lot kindly donated by SES Entertainment Services/Jack Goff Racing/Team Hard and consists of two tickets to the days racing, all day hospitality, pit and garage access and a grid walk on what is sure to be an action packed weekend.

The Lotus Festival is next weekend and it looks like there’ll be a great range of cars on display.
Formula 1 cars return to Brands Hatch for Bank Holiday weekend Lotus Festival
50 years of the Lotus Cortina to be celebrated with special race on the Grand Prix circuitThe glory days of Formula 1 will be recalled at Brands Hatch this Bank Holiday weekend (24/25 August), as several magnificent race machines will return to the Grand Prix circuit for the annual Lotus Festival.
Classic Team Lotus, which maintains many of the original cars on behalf of their owners, will be providing demonstration runs during the Sunday of cars originally driven by Grand Prix greats Jim Clark, Graham Hill, Ronnie Peterson and Jacky Ickx. It’s 50 years since Clark won Team Lotus’ first world title, and the Type 25 that powered him to glory will be on display during the event.
Also celebrating a golden anniversary in 2013 is the legendary Lotus Cortina. The original performance saloon, it won championships in Britain and Europe. Former drivers Jack Sears, who drove the car in late season races on route to the 1963 British Touring Car Championship, and Sir John Whitmore, 1965 European Touring Car Champion with an Alan Mann-prepared Lotus Cortina, are both expected to be attending the event. This years SelocFest at the Lotus Festival is already shaping up to be the best in years with 200 tickets already sold.
Since Tuesday we’ve managed to secure an additional 30 tickets, giving anyone who missed out one last chance to join in and come along.
The Lotus Festival runs from August 23rd-25th, and the final tickets must be bought by the 9th of August. If you’re interested you can buy tickets from the SELOC Shop, and you can find out more about the weekends racing and events on the Lotus Festival website.
